Hi, darlings!

I've been gone a while, I know. Sorry about that! It had nothing to do with you; I'm just very frustrated with livejournal. However, I've missed a lot of you, and if you're interested, I'm quite active on tumblr, twitter, archive of our own, and goodreads.

Although it's summer, I've still been extremely busy with school. Probably the most important test of my life is coming up in less than a week. Eeep! I've been reading and rereading classic literature like a madwoman - remember, I'm training to be an English teacher - as well as brushing up on grammatical and literary terminology. Send any and all spare good karma my way, please! If I don't pass the test, I can't student teach next semester, which means I won't be able to graduate, which means I'll be a sad Lady Knight. Like so: :'(

I posted today to share some good news with you, though. I submitted a short story to Dreamspinner Press and they'll be publishing it, come October, in their steampunk anthology! So many of you have offered me support throughout the ups and downs of my life, especially in regards to writing, that I just had to tell you. Thank you. ♥
